Maurten Education Session + SLR

Maurten Education Session + SLR

Last week, we welcomed Maurten for an in-store education session on their game-changing hydrogel fuelling system. After trying the Drink Mix and GEL 100, we put it to the test on a social 8k run through the city. We followed it up on Sunday with a glorious 18km long run—fueled by Maurten and full of good company.

Salomon Ultra Glide 3 - Trail Run

Salomon Ultra Glide 3 - Trail Run

On a glorious (almost) Summer evening, we headed out towards Banchory, Aberdeenshire, where we linked up with Salomon on the trails to put the Ultra Glide 3 to the test with a solid group of runners.

Salomon’s max cushioned trail runner is perfect for long days on the trails delivering comfort from the first mile to the last, and although we were only out there for 11.5km through forestry tracks and some gravel paths, it was great to get a feel for the shoe on varying terrain.

A Morning at Pitfichie with Nnormal

A Morning at Pitfichie with Nnormal

On a misty Sunday morning, we joined The Green Run Club and trail running powerhouse Nnormal for an unforgettable run through the rugged trails of Pitfichie. We put the Nnormal Tomir to the test over 15km of forest paths and granite hilltops, racking up 460m of elevation. Despite the clag, the stoke was high, proving once again that the best runs are the ones shared.
