SOAR with Rosie
With some brand new SOAR Running in tow, we linked up with local runner Rosie Hislop to take our selection of women’s gear for a spin around Aberdeen’s Union Terrace Gardens.
Yoga For Runners
Before our SLR the other week, our friend Laura Booth held a yoga for runners class at the store which was the perfect start to the morning for not only those who then followed it up with a 15KM run, but also for those who just wanted to move and take care of their body.
Sunday Long Run [SLR]
Last Sunday, on a particularly mild 1st of December, we held our first [official] SLR from the shop taking a solid squad on a 15KM loop.
A Sunday at Bennachie
On Sunday we headed out to Bennachie - a range of hills in Aberdeenshire, 20 miles from Out & Back. Mither Tap is the peak that stands out the most visually, complete with its Iron Age Fort, summiting it acts as almost a rite of passage for the people of Aberdeen and surrounding areas.
Saturdays with The Green Run Club
On Saturday 26th October, we welcomed The Green Run Club to Out & Back Store for the first run from their new base at 45 The Green.
The Green Run Club is a free to join community run club founded in January 2023 and run at least three times a week and often organise trail runs, socials, and other events.
