UK Shipping Information
All orders from Out & Back are shipped using Royal Mail tracked services, providing a reliable and fully trackable delivery experience.
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1 business day during our working week.
Our working days are Tuesday to Friday. Orders placed outside of these days, including weekends, bank holidays, and Mondays, will be processed on the next working day.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your Royal Mail tracking information.
Please see below our current shipping rates:
- Express Delivery (£6.50): Estimated delivery within 1–2 business days after dispatch.
- Standard Delivery (£5.00): Estimated delivery within 2–4 business days after dispatch.
Please note that delivery times are estimates provided by Royal Mail and are not guaranteed. Delivery may occasionally take longer due to factors outside of our control, including adverse weather, operational delays, or increased demand within the postal network.
To maximise the likelihood of next business day delivery, Express orders should be placed before 2pm Tuesday to Thursday.
Orders placed after 2pm, on Fridays, weekends, bank holidays, or Mondays may require an additional working day for processing before dispatch.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation notification from us which will include a Royal Mail tracking number. You'll be able to use this to track your order on the Royal Mail website here.
International Shipping Information

Orders will usually be processed within 1-2 business days, and orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.
During the checkout process, the estimated delivery times will be noted alongside the shipping amount. Please note that these are estimated delivery times and may vary due to circumstances outwith our control, such as postal delays, customs clearance, or adverse weather.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation notification from us which will include a tracking number from the courier. You'll be able to use this to track your order on the relevant couriers website.
Customs, Duties, Import Charges, and Brexit
If you are shopping on Out & Back from outside of the United Kingdom, UK VAT will already be deducted from the product price.
When your order reaches its destination country, local customs agencies may apply import duties or taxes. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient and must be paid before delivery.
Since customs policies and charges vary from country to country, we’re unable to predict the exact cost. If you’re unsure, we recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an order to avoid any unexpected fees.
Please note that if an order is returned to us due to unpaid import duties, is uncollected after attempted delivery, or is returned to sender, a £25 restocking fee may be deducted from your refund to cover administrative costs.
Shipping to France [updated 1st March 2026]
From 1st March 2026, the French Government is introducing a small parcel tax (Taxe sur les petits colis/ TPC) for packages with a value of €150 or below sent from outside the EU to France, Monaco, Guadeloupe, Martinique and Reunion. This small parcel tax is applicable for items destined for France regardless of carrier.
The new €2 tax applies to each classified HS code in your parcel (not per parcel). This is paid by the person responsible for import VAT. Guadeloupe, Martinique and Reunion have a €22 or below exemption for B2C/B2B items.
For items under €150 sent to France using the DDU Delivery Term, La Poste (French postal service) will contact the recipient to arrange payment of any applicable taxes and duties. Please note that La Poste will also apply a service fee, which is payable directly to them by the recipient. Payment can be made online, although there is also the option to do so upon delivery, or at a local Post Office, at a higher cost.
For more information about the French small parcel tax please visit the portal of the French Directorate General of Customs and Indirect Taxes here.
