Their real-world racing feedback played a central role in refining the final production model, helping shape one of the fastest trail racing shoes ASICS has ever created.

At the heart of the METAFUJI™ TRAIL 2 is a redesigned trail-specific carbon plate featuring an innovative X-shaped construction. Positioned between two highly responsive midsole foams, the plate delivers powerful propulsion on steep climbs while maintaining confidence and control on fast, technical descents.

The upper layer of the midsole uses FF LEAP™, ASICS' lightest and most energetic foam, providing exceptional rebound with minimal weight. Beneath the carbon plate, FF BLAST™ PLUS cushioning adds comfort and responsiveness, creating a highly efficient ride capable of maintaining speed over marathon and ultra-distance trail races.

Underfoot, the ASICSGRIP™ outsole with 3.5mm lugs delivers dependable traction across loose, rocky and mixed terrain, while a SOLYTE™ sockliner enhances step-in comfort from the first stride to the finish line.
