The adidas Men's Adizero Adios Pro 5 is a lightweight road racing shoe engineered for runners looking to maximise efficiency and speed over marathon distance. A Lightstrike Pro midsole combines low weight with high energy return, while carbon-fibre ENERGYRIM technology adds a responsive element to the platform, helping create fast, efficient transitions at race pace.

The shoe's 4mm drop and 39mm heel stack provide substantial cushioning without creating an overly tall or cumbersome feel. Above the midsole, the Lightlock 2.0 upper uses a one-way stretch textile to balance flexibility with secure foot containment, while fast lacing allows the fit to be dialled in for race day.

Underfoot, the Lighttraxion outsole has been engineered to remove unnecessary weight while retaining traction, with Continental™ rubber positioned in key areas for dependable grip. At approximately 180g, the Adios Pro 5 is built to disappear beneath the foot when the focus is on maintaining speed over the full marathon distance.
